History of CHESS

In 2014, CHESS began as four families dreamed of a Christian education model that enabled students to discover their unique gifting from God.  Years later, CHESS leadership remains rooted in Christ-centered learning, community, affordability, discipleship, and flexibility. 

With the first day of school designated as August 25, 2014, the founding families had 5 weeks to prepare for the start of school.  Not having so much as a folder or a paper clip, nor a location or teachers, the founding families prayed for and believed God would provide for every need to start CHESS.  The needs were so enormous; it was only God who could bring the details together.  As MIRACLES rolled in EVERY DAY, God was glorified and worshiped!

CHESS Christian School ended its first year with 73 students, and more than doubled in size to 163 students by its second year.  Now in its 9th academic year, CHESS Christian School is blessed to serve more than 400 students, representing 250 families!  As the Lord continues to provide for each need, the Faculty, Staff, Administration, and Board of Directors seek to follow God on the amazing journey of educating the next generation for Christ!
